Vinicius Junior rejected Real Madrid's generous offer for a new contract
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to The Athletic, Real Madrid's star forward Vinicius Junior has not accepted the club's offer for a new contract with a salary of 15-20 million euros per year.
According to available information, the Brazilian talent is aiming for a much more impressive amount. Vinicius seeks to receive a salary on par with legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, who at one time earned 30 million euros annually at Real Madrid, making the Portuguese the highest-paid player in the history of "Los Blancos".
The "Royal Club" hopes to extend the agreement with the 24-year-old winger until 2030. Interestingly, Vinicius's representatives are not at all concerned about Real Madrid's unhurriedness regarding the extension of the current contract, which expires only in 2027. Those in the footballer's circle understand: with each new transfer window, the Brazilian's negotiating position will only strengthen, while the club will find itself in a less advantageous position.
