Photos of iPhone 17 Pro in the hands of a tester have been leaked online

Intriguing photographs of iPhone 17 Pro in the hands of a tester spotted on city streets have appeared online. The images, published by X user @Skyfops, have been confirmed as authentic by authoritative insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.

"I just spotted a test iPhone," reported @Skyfops. One of the frames captures a person wearing sunglasses, holding a smartphone in a black protective case, which likely masks the design of Apple's future new product. Next to it, another device is visible, visually similar to iPhone 16 Pro, with a characteristic sticker that Apple typically uses to mark test samples.

Evidence that we're looking at the iPhone 17 Pro comes from two holes in the upper right corner of the back panel, which perfectly match the location of the flash and LiDAR seen in numerous previously published renders. These details practically confirm the final design of the iPhone 17 Pro - the device will be equipped with a horizontal rectangular camera bump.

As is tradition, Apple presents new iPhone models in early autumn - the iPhone 17 Pro presentation is expected in September.
