The five-time world champions are actively looking for a new coach after parting ways with Dorival Junior. Among the main contenders for the vacant position are two big names: Jorge Jesus, who currently heads Saudi Arabia's "Al-Hilal," and Carlo Ancelotti from Madrid's "Real."

According to the source, the all-time leading scorer in Brazilian national team history is firmly against Jesus's candidacy, under whose leadership he had the chance to play at "Al-Hilal." It is noted that Neymar clearly prefers the Italian specialist Ancelotti.

The tense relationship between Neymar and Jesus has its backstory. The Brazilian star left "Al-Hilal" in January 2025, having played only seven matches for the club in a year and a half due to a series of injuries. Before the forward's return to his native "Santos," the Portuguese coach damaged the player's reputation by refusing to include him in the squad for the spring part of the season with a harsh statement that Neymar allegedly did not meet the level of the Saudi Arabian championship.
