Nutritionists named the ideal daily portion of cherries for health. Experts recommend consuming 200-300 grams of the berry, distributing this amount over several servings throughout the day, Zarema Ten, the head of the center for prevention and health of the adult population at the Vidnovsky Clinical Hospital of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health, told RIA Novosti.

"For healthy adults, the optimal and safe portion is considered to be 200-300 grams of cherries per day, which is approximately 1.5-2 cups without pits," she noted.

According to Ten, one should start with smaller portions of 50-100 grams, especially if the person has eaten cherries before or has a sensitive stomach.
