The prestigious British English dictionary Collins has declared "vibe coding" as the word of 2025, noting revolutionary changes in the field of programming, reports TUT.AZ citing "Gazeta.Ru".

"Vibe coding is the use of artificial intelligence to assist in writing computer code based on a description of the task in natural language," according to the official definition in the dictionary.

The new technology radically changes the approach to software development. Instead of labor-intensive manual writing of lines of code, it is enough to simply describe the desired result in human language, and artificial intelligence transforms this description into functional code. According to the dictionary compilers, the term has already spread far beyond technology hubs, symbolizing "a larger cultural shift toward the use of AI in everyday life".
