Zelensky spoke about the agreement reached with Russia on the exchange of 1,200 prisoners

Russia and Ukraine are preparing a large-scale prisoner exchange using the "1,200 for 1,200" formula

As reported by TUT.AZ, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky revealed details of the upcoming exchange in his official Telegram channel.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the parties have already reached an agreement in principle, and active work is currently underway on forming lists for the exchange.

"Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov reported on communication with the Russian representative," emphasized the head of the Ukrainian state.

Zelensky also added that plans are being developed in parallel to unblock the process of returning civilians.
