Ukraine agreed to a 30-day ceasefire

Leaders of the "coalition of the resolute" after the Kyiv meeting contacted Trump and announced Ukraine's readiness for a ceasefire from May 12

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga.

He noted that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as French leader Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Prime Ministers of Poland and Great Britain Donald Tusk and Keir Starmer spoke by phone with Trump after the meeting of the "coalition of the resolute" in Kyiv on Saturday.

"Ukraine and all allies are ready for a complete unconditional ceasefire on land, in the air and at sea for at least 30 days, starting from Monday [May 12]," said Sybiga.

According to the Foreign Minister, if Russia agrees and effective monitoring is ensured, "a prolonged ceasefire and confidence-building measures could pave the way for peace negotiations."
