Trump: I"m getting calls from Iran asking to make a nuclear deal

US President Donald Trump made a bold statement that representatives of the Iranian authorities are contacting him directly, expressing a desire to reach an agreement on Tehran's nuclear program.

As NBC News reports, the White House head revealed this sensational information during a live television broadcast.

"They missed an opportunity to make a deal. Now, perhaps, they will have another opportunity. We'll see," the American leader stated.

When journalists asked why Trump believes Iran would want to make an agreement right now, after the Israeli strikes, the president unexpectedly revealed the fact of direct contacts with the Islamic republic.

"They are calling me to talk [about making a deal]," Trump emphasized.
