The administration of US President Donald Trump presented a draft of a historic treaty with the Saudi Kingdom, which was agreed upon during the American leader's visit to the state capital Riyadh.
According to the document, the investment partnership will cover key strategic areas: defense, energy, and security. A particularly important point of the agreement will be providing American companies with access to valuable rare earth minerals.
The visit to Saudi Arabia opens a large-scale Middle Eastern tour for the Republican. On May 15, Trump will arrive in the capital of Qatar, Doha, and on May 16, he will visit the United Arab Emirates.
