State Secretary of Dagestan Magomed-Sultan Magomedov taken into custody

As reported by TUT.AZ, representatives of the republic's security forces confirmed the information about the detention of the high-ranking official to TASS.

"Magomed-Sultan Magomedov has been detained," - the agency's source commented laconically.

According to information previously provided to TASS by regional security officials, as part of the initiated criminal case, law enforcement officers conducted a series of searches at several addresses related to Magomedov. The investigative activities involved the official's personal residence, as well as his office in the building of the head of administration and government of Dagestan. In addition, the Makhachkala city hall informed that on Wednesday searches were conducted in two departments of the city administration.
