Zelensky responded to Trump's proposal to give up Crimea for peace

"Crimea should not have been abandoned then," said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his social media page X, commenting on the recent statement by US President Donald Trump.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized that he is interested in ending hostilities as soon as possible, but particularly noted the importance of achieving a long-term and sustainable peace.
