Russian tourists began fainting on airplanes: what is the reason

A real drama unfolded in the cabin of a Southwind airline plane operating a flight from Antalya to Moscow. Passengers, including Russian tourists and children, began to lose consciousness due to severe stuffiness caused by non-functioning air conditioners.

As reported by TUT.AZ, this was announced by REN TV in their Telegram channel.

Shocking footage of the incident spread like wildfire across social media. The videos show exhausted passengers futilely trying to cope with the unbearable heat in the cabin. Many used improvised means — leaflets and brochures — as makeshift fans, but this hardly helped to deal with the suffocating atmosphere.

According to an eyewitness who captured the events on video, the nightmarish situation continued for a full two hours. Only after this time had passed were the exhausted people finally evacuated from the overheated cabin into fresh air.

"An ambulance arrived at the scene, as passengers, including children, began to lose consciousness," the message emphasizes.

When the air conditioners finally started working and the engines were started, a new conflict broke out on board, quickly escalating into a scuffle. The troublemakers had to be removed from the flight. Despite the series of dramatic events, the aircraft eventually reached its destination safely.
