Prince Harry decided to meet with his cancer-stricken father for the first time in 3 years

Prince Harry prepares for long-awaited meeting with King Charles III after almost two years apart

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Daily Mirror, the monarch's younger son will arrive in the United Kingdom from the USA on September 8 - on the significant date of the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's passing. The visit takes place during a period when King Charles III is battling cancer and has no plans for foreign trips until the end of September. Father and son last saw each other in February of this year.

"Obviously, both sides are interested in meeting. No one claims that the large-scale family disagreements have been resolved, but starting with Charles and Harry is exactly what's needed," shared a source from the publication.

According to the insider, the desire to restore relations is sincere from both the king and the prince, and Harry's team has already established working contacts with representatives of Buckingham Palace. "This is not about public gestures or official events, but about a simple conversation between father and son," emphasized the source.

At the same time, according to available information, Harry's older brother, Prince William, is not yet considering the possibility of reconciliation with his younger brother.

In August, Parade magazine, citing a source in Buckingham Palace, reported a serious deterioration in Charles III's health, which could potentially become a catalyst for reconciliation between the prince brothers.

Earlier it became known that on July 9, confidential negotiations took place in London between representatives of Charles III and Prince Harry. The meeting was held at the Royal Overseas League building.
