Pilots of a flight from Istanbul to Moscow were targeted with a laser in the sky

The airliner crew was subjected to a dangerous laser attack while approaching Moscow. The pilots masterfully handled the situation, reports the Telegram channel Aviaincident.

The alarming incident occurred on April 20 during a regular flight from Istanbul to Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport. When the Airbus A321 was at an altitude of two thousand meters approximately 50 kilometers west of the capital, unknown perpetrators directed a blinding green laser beam at the pilots' cockpit.

Thanks to the high professionalism of the crew, the potentially dangerous situation was successfully overcome. The pilots continued the flight without deviating from the route, and the landing at Sheremetyevo Airport proceeded normally, safely and without incident.
