Pakistan voiced a demand for the cessation of hostilities

Pakistan is ready to reduce tensions in the conflict with India on condition of stopping Operation "Sindur"

Pakistan has expressed readiness to de-escalate tensions in the confrontation with India, but only if the neighboring country stops the military operation "Sindur" and ceases other aggressive actions, the country's defense minister reported.

"We have been saying all this time that we will not take any action against India. If India backs down, we will definitely scale back our military actions. But as long as we are being attacked, we will have to respond, we will have to defend ourselves," - Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said in an exclusive interview with Bloomberg TV.

When asked by a journalist about the possibility of diplomatic negotiations after a series of mutual strikes, the head of the defense department replied that he is "not aware of such contacts."
