A large-scale redeployment of Pakistani army reserves has begun in the northern direction towards the disputed territories of Jammu and Kashmir.
As reported by TUT.AZ, footage of impressive military columns passing through the strategically important city of Rawalpindi has appeared on social media.
Tensions in the region have sharply increased after the bloody terrorist attack on April 22 in Jammu and Kashmir. Armed militants coldly shot tourists who were climbing a mountain path in the picturesque Baisaran valley.
According to media sources, 26 people fell victim to the attack. The Afghan group "Resistance Front" publicly claimed responsibility for the brutal attack.
The tragic incident has provoked a serious escalation in the already tense relations between the nuclear powers - Pakistan and India.
