Ukraine's Cybersecurity Under Attack: US Reduces Aid

As reported by TUT.AZ, the reputable Bloomberg agency reports serious problems in Ukraine's cybersecurity sphere.

After Donald Trump took office as US President, there was a large-scale reduction in support for Ukrainian cyber infrastructure. Dozens of contracts with specialists who provided cybersecurity for hundreds of Ukrainian facilities were frozen or completely canceled. Planned deliveries of computer hardware and software never took place. Many initiated projects remained unfinished, and contractors were unable to complete their work.

Bloomberg provides a striking example of a suspended project: a major contract worth $128 million between the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and DAI Global LLC. The agreement, concluded in 2020, was supposed to be in effect until September 2026, but funding was suspended in January of this year. Many specialists involved in this project were forced to take temporary leave.
