Night attack of Russian "Shahed" drones on SOCAR oil depot in Odesa region led to fire and pipeline damage
This was reported to RBC-Ukraine by sources in law enforcement agencies.
According to the sources, the fire that broke out as a result of the attack was promptly contained. Four employees of the oil depot received serious injuries and were immediately provided with emergency medical care.
Currently, specialists are determining the extent of the damage. Urgent restoration work is already underway at the facility.
The sources emphasize that although the official investigation results have not yet been published, the nature of the hits by five guided drones clearly indicates that the oil depot of the Azerbaijani company was the main target of the night attack.
In response to a request from TUT.AZ, representatives of Socar Energy Ukraine reported that under martial law conditions, they are unable to comment on incidents affecting critical infrastructure facilities.
