Media: For the first time in 58 years, a Syrian leader will visit the USA

Interim President of Syria Ahmad al-Sharaa will visit the USA for the first time in more than half a century

According to Syrian state television, the head of state will arrive in the United States in September to speak from the United Nations tribune.

This historic visit will be the first official visit by a Syrian leader to American territory since the distant year of 1967, which gives the event special diplomatic significance.
