Armed conflict erupted between Afghanistan and Pakistan in the disputed border region of Bahramcha in Helmand province.
This is reported by Al Arabiya.
"Intense clashes between Pakistani military formations and the Taliban broke out on the border line in Afghanistan's Helmand province due to the construction of new border checkpoints on Pakistani territory," the report states.
Currently, the border zone between the two states is completely closed to transport traffic.
