Oncologist warns: severe night sweats may signal cancer

A well-known oncology specialist Suhail Hussain has drawn public attention to an alarming symptom that may indicate serious diseases. According to La Razon publication, the doctor emphasized the distinctive nature of night sweating associated with oncological processes.

"Night sweating associated with certain types of cancer, such as lymphoma or leukemia, is not limited to a few drops on the forehead," warns Hussain. The specialist notes that sweating characteristic of oncology is so intense that by morning, pajamas and bed sheets become noticeably damp, even in a cool bedroom temperature.

The medical professional also indicated that such a symptom may be evidence of prostate cancer, bone cancer, kidney cancer, and thyroid cancer. Among other concerning signs of oncological diseases, the doctor highlighted elevated temperature, pronounced fatigue, unexplained weight loss, as well as enlarged lymph nodes in the neck area, groin, and abdominal cavity.
