Birds prefer to mark brown, red and black cars — research reveals color preferences of feathered vandals
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to a study by Alan's Factory conducted among a thousand American car owners, dark and bright shades of cars become the main targets for birds:
"Brown, red and black cars received the most unwanted attention, while white and silver-gray cars suffered from this significantly less," the authors of the study note.
The research revealed alarming statistics: more than half of respondents (58%) encounter "bird bombings" more than once a day. Interestingly, almost a third of respondents (29%) are convinced that birds deliberately choose their vehicles.
In the ranking of car brands most affected by bird droppings, prestigious Lexus, innovative Tesla, and powerful Dodge are leading.
