Zelensky approved agreement with USA on rare earth metals
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law ratifying an important agreement between Ukraine and the United States in the field of rare earth metals. Information about this appeared on the official portal of the Verkhovna Rada.
The Ukrainian parliament approved this document on May 8 with impressive support — 338 people's deputies voted for ratification.
It is worth noting that on the night of April 30 to May 1, Ukraine and the United States signed an agreement on the formation of a joint Recovery Investment Fund, providing for equal participation of both countries. This event was preceded by a lengthy negotiation process, during which, as emphasized by representatives of the Ukrainian government, Kyiv managed to secure favorable conditions for itself.
