Trump"s Special Envoy: Peace in Ukraine is impossible without Putin"s consent

Peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine is impossible without Putin's consent.

This was stated by US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff during his recent speech.

According to him, maintaining contacts with the Russian Federation plays a key role in the settlement process.

Witkoff emphasized that Trump insists on direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine "in an ultimatum form," warning that otherwise the United States will completely withdraw from the settlement process.

Trump's special envoy outlined the key topics for upcoming negotiations: the issue of territorial affiliation, the use of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, as well as ensuring Ukraine's access to the Dnipro River and the Black Sea.

"Much has already been done to narrow down the range of problems. Informal negotiations are being conducted with Moscow and Kyiv," Witkoff concluded.
