The United States and Qatar signed an agreement for 1.2 trillion dollars

The USA and Qatar have concluded a historic agreement for an astronomical sum of $1.2 trillion

This is reported in an official White House document.

"Today in Qatar, US President Donald Trump signed an agreement with Qatar on economic turnover amounting to at least $1.2 trillion. President Trump also announced the conclusion of economic deals totaling more than $243.5 billion between the USA and Qatar, including a historic deal for the sale of Boeing aircraft and GE Aerospace engines to Qatar Airways," the statement notes.

As part of the large-scale agreement, Qatar Airways will purchase 210 modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 777X airliners for $96 billion. After signing the agreement, Trump stated that the deal involves the purchase of more than 160 aircraft for $200 billion. Additionally, Qatar will purchase eight MQ-9B long-endurance UAVs from the American company General Atomics for $2 billion, as well as acquire anti-drone systems from the American corporation Raytheon for $1 billion.

The USA and Qatar have agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations in the military sphere and potential investments of more than $38 billion. It is noted that part of these funds will go to Al Udeid, the largest American air base in the Middle East, located in Qatar.
