Turkish Foreign Ministry calls on Armenia to support normalization of relations

As reported by TUT.AZ, the Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued an official address to Armenia, calling on the neighboring country to participate more actively in the process of normalizing bilateral relations.

"Turkey strongly rejects statements that contradict historical truth and international law regarding the events of 1915. Such claims are absolutely unfounded," - emphasized in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic.

The document specifically notes the need to prevent actions by radical groups that could contribute to the escalation of tensions between the countries. The Turkish side also reminded of its commitment to the principles of peace, stability, and dialogue both in the international arena and in the regional context.

"As part of the effort to objectively investigate the events of 1915, our country has provided open access to its archives," - summarized the diplomatic department.
