Kremlin supports Trump's statement on Crimea: "Fully corresponds to our position"

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to gazeta.ru, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov commented on recent statements by former US President Donald Trump about the status of Crimea during a briefing with journalists.

"This fully corresponds with our understanding and with what we have been saying for a long time," emphasized the Kremlin representative.

The day before, Trump sharply criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement about Kyiv's lack of intention to recognize Crimea as Russian. The American leader believes that Zelensky's words "seriously harm" peace negotiations.
