The Kremlin commented on Azerbaijans new decision regarding the downed AZAL aircraft

Kremlin will take a wait-and-see position in case Azerbaijan appeals to international courts regarding the AZAL plane crash

As TASS reports, Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated at a briefing that Moscow will not take hasty actions in connection with Azerbaijan's possible appeal to international courts regarding the plane crash near Aktau.

"An investigation is underway, and the circumstances are still being clarified. If Azerbaijan decides to file a lawsuit, it is their right, and we will wait for official decisions," Peskov emphasized.

Earlier, Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev announced the preparation of documents for an appeal to international courts in connection with the crash of the Embraer 190 passenger aircraft belonging to AZAL airline, which occurred near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.
