Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustam Umerov told American officials that Kyiv agrees with 90 percent of the peace proposals presented by US President Donald Trump in Paris.
According to the New York Post, the Ukrainian side expressed support for the peace plan of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and is now awaiting Russia's response. It is reported that if Moscow refuses to accept Trump's proposal, the American president may terminate the negotiation process.
A source in the American administration noted that while waiting for a response from Russia, Ukraine intends to work out in detail the points of a potential peace agreement concerning the definition of ceasefire lines.
