Sensational find in Antwerp: Picasso plate discovered among ordinary items
Employees of a thrift store in Belgian Antwerp made an amazing discovery that shocked the art world. Among ordinary household items, they found a real treasure — a clay plate with an original sketch of a bullfight created by Pablo Picasso himself.
As reported by TUT.AZ, citing the newspaper HLN, this incredible find was made about three weeks ago. Attentive store employees noticed an intriguing inscription Empreinte originale de Picasso (original painting by Picasso) on the item. Subsequent examination fully confirmed the authenticity of the work by the great Spanish artist.
The unique art piece did not remain long within the walls of the thrift store — the plate with the master's drawing was successfully sold at auction for an impressive sum of 12,600 euros.
