Elon Musk criticized Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill," calling it contradictory to DOGE goals
"Honestly, I was disappointed to see a huge spending bill that increases the deficit rather than reducing it, and undermines the work of the DOGE team," the billionaire stated in a candid interview with CBS, not hiding his dissatisfaction with the recently adopted document.
The US House of Representatives approved the large-scale bill last week by a minimal margin - just one vote. The document covers a significant portion of President Trump's domestic agenda, including tax policy issues, immigration regulation, and other key areas.
"I think a bill can be big or beautiful, but I don't know if it can be both, in my personal opinion," Musk noted ironically, alluding to the name of the bill and its contradictory nature.
