China showed the world for the first time unique lunar soil from the far side of Earth's satellite

As TUT.AZ reports, this is according to RIA Novosti.

The People's Republic of China became the first country in human history that was able not only to successfully land the "Chang'e-6" spacecraft on the side of the Moon invisible from Earth, but also to deliver valuable soil samples from there.

Thursday marks the national Space Day in China. As part of the celebrations, unique lunar soil samples obtained from the South Pole-Aitken basin on the far side of the Moon were ceremoniously presented to the general public at the Shanghai World Expo Center.

In addition, exhibition visitors had the opportunity to see lunar soil samples collected earlier during the "Chang'e-5" mission in December 2020.
