Australian woman sets world record for the largest collection of minions

An Australian woman conquered the world with a record collection of minions, reports TUT.AZ with reference to UPI.

Western Australia resident Liesl Beneke officially entered the Guinness Book of Records by collecting an impressive 1,035 minion figurines - the funny yellow characters from the "Despicable Me" animated series. Her collecting hobby began 15 years ago when she first saw these characters on screen.

"I immediately fell in love with these little mischief-makers. Deep down I remain a big child and I'm always looking out for new minions wherever I go," Liesl admits.

Her unique collection has literally taken over her entire house: figurines are placed in every room and decorate the walls. The record holder's daughter jokingly notes that such a number of minions already requires a separate house, but Liesl herself is convinced that the yellow heroes create a special cozy atmosphere.

Among thousands of specimens, Beneke has a clear favorite - the one-eyed rascal Stuart. The woman even immortalized his image as a tattoo on her arm.

Despite achieving a world record, the enthusiastic Australian does not plan to stop there.
