Bloody attack on court: armed assault shocks southeastern Iran

Dramatic events unfolded in the city of Zahedan in Sistan and Baluchestan province, where a group of armed individuals carried out a bold attack on the local courthouse building. According to witnesses, the perpetrators broke into the premises and, heading straight to the judges' offices, opened fire. The tragic incident resulted in deaths and injuries among court employees and military personnel. Authorities have not yet disclosed the exact number of victims, and the identities of the attackers and their motives remain a mystery for investigators.

It is worth noting that Sistan and Baluchestan province, predominantly populated by Baluchi Sunnis, is known as the largest hotbed of protest movement in Iran. The region regularly becomes the arena of anti-government demonstrations and clashes with representatives of the regime's security forces.
