Powerful explosion thundered at a fireworks factory in China's Hunan province
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Gazeta.ru, a devastating explosion occurred in the vicinity of Shanzhou village in the morning. The incident happened around 08:23 local time. Eyewitnesses managed to capture on video an impressive column of black smoke in the shape of a "mushroom" that soared high into the sky after the explosion.
Emergency services immediately arrived at the scene. Rescuers managed to evacuate nine people, some of the victims received injuries of varying severity. According to preliminary data, at least two people are listed as missing. The search and rescue operation continues in an enhanced mode.
