Unexpected discovery: instant coffee can be as beneficial as natural coffee

Nutritionist revealed the truth about instant coffee: it's almost as good as freshly brewed

Nutritionist Natalia Pavlyuk debunked popular myths about instant coffee. According to her, although instant coffee does contain fewer beneficial substances compared to natural coffee, the freeze-dried version retains a significant amount of valuable elements and can boast similar health benefits.

The expert drew attention to an important detail: most scientific studies examining the effects of coffee on the body do not make a clear distinction between natural and instant drinks. This suggests that quality freeze-dried coffee has virtually identical beneficial properties.

At the same time, Pavlyuk noted that instant varieties usually contain fewer antioxidants. In general, coffee, regardless of preparation method, demonstrates an impressive range of positive effects: from increasing life expectancy to reducing the risk of cancer, arrhythmia, and cardiovascular problems. Additionally, the drink has a beneficial effect on the liver due to its choleretic action.

The nutritionist especially emphasized that the reaction to coffee is strictly individual for each person.

"It is believed that coffee on an empty stomach is worse for carbohydrate metabolism in terms of insulin production. For people with stomach ulcers, coffee definitely provokes heartburn. There are people who have allergies to coffee, genetic intolerance to coffee, or increased blood pressure. Heartburn, pressure, allergies, increased anxiety, dependency – all of these exist, but individually," the specialist noted.
