Dietitian Salena Sainz revealed exactly which coffee can be safely consumed after lunch without fear of a sleepless night. The specialist shared her advice in an interview with the publication Hola.

"Naturally roasted coffee made from one hundred percent Arabica beans is the optimal choice for those who are not ready to give up their favorite drink in the afternoon. Arabica beans contain approximately 30 to 50 percent less caffeine than Robusta beans. (…) This can lead to significantly less stimulation of the nervous system," Sainz explained.

However, even when choosing Arabica, one should not let their guard down. Although this type of coffee has a noticeably lesser impact on sleep quality, it is important to consider the total amount of caffeine consumed, which directly depends on the brewing method and the size of the cup, the specialist emphasized. In addition, she urged people not to forget about each person's individual sensitivity to this substance.
