Apple is preparing a revolutionary iPhone Air 2 for spring 2027

These key characteristics will become the company's main advantage in promoting the new series.

According to insiders, information previously circulated about the indefinite postponement of the second generation of the ultra-thin iPhone due to not-so-high sales of the original iPhone Air. However, fresh information paints a more optimistic picture: the release will be delayed by just six months - instead of fall 2026, the device will be presented in spring 2027.

The Bloomberg article emphasizes that annual updates, characteristic of base and Pro models, were not initially planned for the Air lineup. Apple deliberately avoids the name "iPhone 17 Air," seeking to emphasize the special position of this series in the overall product ecosystem.

As for the design, radical changes are not expected: iPhone Air 2 will inherit the external appearance of its predecessor, receiving targeted improvements - primarily enhanced battery life and the long-awaited ultra-wide camera.
