Researchers have established an impressive fact: just two cups of tea daily provide the body with approximately 500 mg of flavonoids, which is associated with a reduction in the overall mortality risk by a whole 16%.
A large-scale ten-year study involving more than 120 thousand volunteers aged 40 to 70 years allowed scientists to make an important discovery. Specialists emphasize an important nuance: for maximum benefit, not only a sufficient quantity of these substances is necessary but also a variety of sources — the wider the spectrum of products in the diet, the more noticeable the positive effect on health.
