Woman staged bomb threat on plane to disrupt sons escape with mistress

Mother and wife of a cheater staged a fake terrorist threat to disrupt his escape with a mistress to Nepal

A family drama in Bangladesh led to serious consequences for an airline flight and the conflict participants themselves. A man named Imon planned to secretly fly from Dhaka to Kathmandu with his lover on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight. However, his mother and legal wife, upon learning about the planned escape, decided to take a desperate step. According to Dhaka Tribune, the women, following advice from Imon's friend, reported to the airport dispatch service about a supposed bomb planted on the aircraft.

The false report about an explosive device led to a large-scale special operation. The departure was canceled, and the plane underwent a thorough three-hour search involving bomb technicians and dog handlers with canines. No explosives were found. During the subsequent investigation, law enforcement quickly tracked down the organizers of the false alarm. Both women and their accomplice were arrested. The publication does not report whether Imon eventually managed to carry out his plan and reach Nepal with his mistress.
