On May 11, Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will be covered with variable cloudiness, no precipitation is expected, and the southwest wind will give way to a moderate northwest wind by midday.
This was reported by TUT.AZ with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The night temperature in the capital and on Absheron will be comfortable — from 16 to 19 degrees above zero, and during the day the air will warm up to a pleasant 25-29 degrees.
Atmospheric pressure will be 756 mm of mercury. Relative humidity will reach 60-70% during nighttime hours, and during the day it will decrease to 45-55%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather will mostly remain dry, however, residents of northern and western areas should be prepared for daytime rains with thunderstorms. In some places, forecasters do not rule out heavy rains and hail, and wet snow is possible in high mountainous areas. Morning hours may bring fog, and the western wind will please with gustiness.
The temperature regime in the regions at night will be 14-19 degrees, during the day the air will warm up to 26-31 degrees above zero. In mountainous areas it will be cooler: 5-10 at night, and 15-20 degrees above zero during the day.
