Ukrainian military carried out a new attack on the "Unecha" oil pumping station in the Bryansk region of Russia. This station provides oil transportation for two oil pipelines, including the strategically important "Druzhba".
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Ukrainian media, the information about the attack was confirmed by the commander of the UAV Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi (known by the call sign "Magyar").
According to him, the operation was carried out by servicemen of the 14th Regiment of the UAV Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Also, "Magyar" made it clear that similar actions against Russian oil refining infrastructure facilities would continue.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto informed about the suspension of oil supplies to Hungary via the "Druzhba" oil pipeline.
"Overnight, news came that the 'Druzhba' pipeline on the Russian-Belarusian border was subjected to repeated attacks - for the third time in a short period. The transportation of crude oil to Hungary has been stopped again! This is another attack on our country's energy security," he said.
It is worth noting that this station has already been attacked on August 6 and 13, 2025. In addition, on August 18, the "Nikolskoye" oil pumping station in the Tambov region of the Russian Federation was attacked, which led to a temporary cessation of supplies to Europe via the "Druzhba" oil pipeline. Oil supplies to Hungary were resumed on August 20.
