US President Donald Trump held a lengthy telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, as he reported on his social network Truth Social.
According to information provided by the American president, the conversation lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes. During the talk, the heads of state discussed recent military actions, including attacks by Ukrainian forces on Russian airfields, as well as other strikes carried out by both sides of the conflict.
"It was a constructive conversation, but one should not expect an immediate cessation of hostilities. President Putin very categorically stated Russia's intention to respond to the recent strikes on airfields," Trump emphasized.
