Unprecedented aerial confrontation: India and Pakistan staged a large-scale demonstration of force in the sky

According to CNN, a grand aerial confrontation unfolded on the line of contact between India and Pakistan, involving more than 125 combat aircraft. For an hour, the opposing sides exchanged intensive missile strikes at distances exceeding 160 kilometers.

Notably, during this tense clash, not a single fighter jet crossed the airspace border of the neighboring state. This fact indicates an extremely high level of tension and full combat readiness of both nuclear powers for a possible expansion of the conflict.

The current escalation in relations between the long-standing regional rivals is a consequence of the tragic events of April 22 in northern India. On that day, a group of armed extremists attacked a tourist area, resulting in the death of 26 civilians. The authorities in New Delhi immediately placed responsibility on Islamabad, accusing Pakistan of supporting terrorist organizations.
