Former Trump strategist reveals the true reason for the conflict between Musk and the White House. According to Steve Bannon, the Tesla CEO tried to gain access to the Pentagon's secret military plans regarding a possible conflict with China. Bannon characterized Musk as an elitist outsider interfering in the MAGA movement created by ordinary Americans.

According to Bannon, relations deteriorated sharply after Trump refused to grant Musk access to classified documents. This moment became a turning point in their relationship. The President refuted information that Musk was allegedly shown military plans, emphasizing the inadmissibility of disclosing such data to a businessman with Chinese connections through Tesla and SpaceX.

The US President clarified that Musk's visit to the Pentagon was exclusively related to an audit of expenses, not access to military secrets. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also stated that rumors about Musk's access to classified documents were deliberately spread to undermine his reputation.

Steve Bannon, known for his populist views, does not hide his negative attitude toward Musk, calling him a "globalist" and a "parasite." He expressed concerns about the billionaire's possible influence on the future of the MAGA movement. Despite Trump's attempts to organize a reconciliation, a meeting between the opponents never took place. Tensions reached their peak at the CPAC conference, where both received ovations from the audience, however, Bannon emphasized that the MAGA movement is more important than any individual personalities.

Musk has barely responded to the criticism, although he once characterized Bannon as a "talker incapable of real action." Bannon insists that his confrontation with Musk is based exclusively on ideological disagreements, not personal animosity.
