Most of the enriched uranium was evacuated from the Fordow plant before the American strike
According to Reuters, citing a high-ranking Iranian source, a significant amount of enriched uranium was removed from the underground facility in Fordow before the US Air Force strikes.
According to the source, the facility administration also managed to evacuate most of the employees from the uranium enrichment plant, located at a depth of 80-90 meters near the city of Qom, approximately 150 kilometers south of Tehran.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced the successful execution of an air operation against "three nuclear facilities in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan." Iranian authorities confirmed the strikes, but emphasized Tehran's determination to continue developing its nuclear program.
