Vladimir Putin named a touching "formula of love" that underlies Russia's traditional values

On Thursday, the Russian leader held a video meeting with outstanding large families from different parts of the country. Among the participants were parents awarded the "Parental Glory" order, as well as women bearing the honorary title "Mother Heroine."

"One of the participants of our meeting today very beautifully formulated her attitude toward children and toward those children who appear in the family, toward the youngest children. She said: 'How did we live without you?', thinking about newly appearing children in the family. This is just an amazingly beautiful 'formula of love' - both to children, and generally to members of one's large family, and to people. This wonderful 'formula of love' - 'How did I live without you?' or 'How did I live without you?' - lies at the foundation not only of our large families, but at the foundation of all our traditional values," Putin noted.
