Oil refinery in Haifa damaged by Iranian missile strike
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Report, the facility operator announced the consequences of the night attack.
"Pipelines and power lines between facilities at the Bazan oil refining complex in the northern city of Haifa suffered localized damage as a result of the overnight missile attack from Iran," the official statement says.
Despite the incident, the company continues partial oil refining, although a significant portion of the facilities on site are temporarily closed. No information about casualties on the territory of the plant has been reported.
It should be noted that about 40 missiles were fired at Haifa last night. One of the projectiles hit a residential building in the neighboring city of Tamra, resulting in the tragic death of four people.
