Media: Pakistani and Indian military engaged in a shootout

A shootout broke out between the military of the two countries on the border of India and Pakistan.

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to the Indian TV channel News18, the incident occurred in the border zone.

At the moment, there is no information about possible injured or dead.

Tensions in the region intensified after a terrorist attack was carried out on April 22 in the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir. Armed militants attacked tourists, opening fire with automatic weapons on people climbing a mountain trail in the picturesque Baisaran valley.

According to media reports, the Afghan group "Resistance Front" claimed responsibility for the bloody attack.
