According to the source, the singer and organizers had already agreed on all key details: the concert date in August and an impressive fee of at least 1 million dollars. However, after a period of consideration, Lopez's team returned with a negative response. It is reported that the main reason for the refusal was "reputational risks" associated with the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and possible negative reaction from the Western public.

At the same time, the star is not completely ruling out performances in Russia. Sources claim that Lopez is considering the possibility of organizing concerts after the conflict ends. According to Mash, negotiations with the artist were conducted by the concert agency PMI, whose director Evgeny Finkelstein refused to comment on the situation.
